Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce Honors Longtime Community Member Charlotte Louise Harvey

White River Junction, VT – The Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce mourns the passing of Charlotte Louise (Warren) Harvey, 92, who passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025. Charlotte was a long-time cherished friend of the Hartford Area Chamber and a pillar of the local community.

Charlotte’s life was defined by her dedication to service and her gift for connecting with people. She volunteered for over fifteen years with us at the Quechee Gorge Visitor Center, where she delighted visitors with her warmth, humor, and trademark red lipstick. Her efforts helped countless visitors feel welcome in our region, and her commitment inspired colleagues and friends alike.

Beyond her volunteer work, Charlotte served the community in many ways, including roles as a nursing assistant at Guthrie Nursing Home in Woodstock, VT, and as Assistant Town Clerk in Mount Holly, VT. She pursued lifelong learning, proudly earning her GED in 1987, and remained actively engaged with friends and family throughout her life.

The Chamber extends its deepest condolences to Charlotte’s family, friends, and to everyone who was touched by her kindness, humor, and generosity. Her legacy of service and community spirit will be remembered and cherished by all.
