Winter Wassail Weekend

Step Back in Time to Victorian Christmas Past at Billings Farm & Museum
Friday, December 13 – Sunday, December 15, 10:00AM – 4:00PM

Celebrate the holiday season by exploring the charm of Victorian Christmas at Billings Farm & Museum.

• Festive Atmosphere:
  Wander through the Visitor Center and historic barn, adorned with a magnificent holiday tree and enchanting decorations. Experience the warmth of a Victorian Christmas in the authentically decorated farmhouse parlor.

• Warm Wassail Punch:
  Treat yourself to a cup of traditional Wassail punch—a mulled blend of citrus juice and spices. Available for purchase; no admission required.

• Farm Fun:
  Meet the farm’s Jersey cows, draft horses, chickens, sheep, and goats. On Sunday, December 15, enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh or wagon ride through the scenic pastures (conditions permitting) from 11:00AM–3:00PM. Additional fee applies for rides.

• Hands-On Activities:
  Dip your own candle to take home and gather by the outdoor firepits to warm up with a cup of cocoa from the Museum Gift Shop. Embrace light adventure by snowshoeing, hiking, or cross-country skiing along the Ottauquechee River, weather permitting.
