Teaching About Weather in the K-5 Classroom
Tuesday, March 13, 2012, 9 am – 1 pm.
In this teacher workshop, spend a day exploring the big ideas in weather – what makes weather, how it changes and moves, and how to predict it. We will learn a variety of hands-on activities appropriate for the elementary school classroom in addition to using the Museum’s Dynamic Globe exhibit to explore this topic. This teacher workshop is supported with funds from NASA.
$55 (includes lunch). Pre-registration required. Limit 14 teachers.
