Teacher Workshop: Weather and Climate Change

9 a.m.–2 p.m.
We will begin this workshop learning about what creates weather, which will include classroom and museum-based activities to help you teach atmospheric movement, the water cycle, and condensation. We will also learn about the cryosphere and concepts in climate change such as feedback loops, sea level rise, and changes in arctic sea ice. This professional development workshop is designed for teachers in grades 5-8. This workshop, part of the Montshire’s Dynamic Earth project, is partially supported with funding from NASA. Fee: $80 (includes lunch). Limit: 15, pre-registration required.
