Teacher Workshop: Linking Science and Literacy in the K-8 Classroom

This professional development workshop will focus on how to help students communicate and discuss their learning in the inquiry-based science classroom. Writing, using student science journals, drawing, and science discourse are all critically important aspects of the science process and provide teachers with strategies to ‘close the loop’ in helping students make meaning of their science experiences. Grades K–6. $125.
