Teacher Workshop: Cells!

9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Spend a day with Montshire and Dartmouth faculty learning about the basic building blocks of life. We will use a variety of microscopes, including the Museum’s new videoscope, to observe plant and animal cells. Learn to employ simple stains to observe cell walls, nuclei, and other fascinating features. The afternoon will be spent at Dartmouth College working in one of the biology labs for an introduction in the more complex techniques in microscopy. Participants in this workshop will also receive one free Cells! VisitPlus program for their class. Grade 5–8 teachers. $70.
