Raptors up Close
February 5, 6, 12-18, 20, 21, 26, 28; no formal Raptors Up Close on Feb 19 in lieu of Owl Festival - In this intimate encounter you will explore the fascinating lives of birds. Look deeply into subjects ranging from how we rehabilitate hundreds of birds each year, the fundamentals of how we train our raptors to the specialties of certain raptor groups like falcons and owls. You'll walk away with behind-the-scenes knowledge of how VINS cares for its residents and how important birds are to the world we share. Touchable artifacts and hands-on materials round out this special experience.
