Plasma Cutting Demonstration with Hypertherm
Saturday, May 18, 1:00-3:00 pm
Celebrating "How People Make Things," Hypertherm will demonstrate plasma cutting techniques. Hypertherm associates will be at the Montshire to offer live plasma metal cutting technology education and demonstrations with their smallest hand-held metal cutting system – the Powermax30®. Hypertherm technical engineers will describe how plasma is created and harnessed, where and how the systems are used in industry – all while cutting metal plate and other familiar metal items you’d find around the house or in the garage. Free with museum admission.
