Parenting & Teaching Towards Self-Sufficiency

The Upper Valley Waldorf (UVWS) is proud to host Jaimen McMillan, the Founder and Director of the Spacial Dynamics Institute, on Wednesday, September 26 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Jaimen will present on "Parenting & Teaching Self-Sufficiency: Developing Initiative, Perseverance and Endurance."

In today’s busy world, it is easy to take on too much. By taking on so much, are we enabling others, especially our children, to not do things for themselves? Are we thereby inhibiting their growth? Jaimen McMillan give us the tools to create space for children to develop their wills—the initiative, perseverance and endurance necessary for success.

Jaimen, Founder and Director of the Spacial Dynamics Institute (NY), has spent more than three decades training movement educators, movement therapists, and other movement professionals, including actors, dancers and top-level athletes.
