Teacher Institute: Designing Student Research Experiences in the Health Sciences

This three-day institute will provide teachers with the information and curriculum resources needed to implement a student research-centered health and science education unit in the areas of nutrition and activity, body image, and skin health. This teacher institute is part of the museum's "Connecting Classrooms and Community with the Health Sciences" funded through a National Institute of Health SEPA award. Teachers will receive a stipend for their participation in this institute. For grade 5-8 science, physical education, and health educators. Free; pre-registration required:
