IMMIGRATION TO TRANSTIERRO presents a theoretical and testimonial approach to the immigrant experience, exploring the condition of transtierro (living a duality of languages, cultures, and national loyalties for two nations which never fully accept you). Keiselim A. Montás --Keysi-- (Dominican Republic, 1968). Immigrated to the US in 1985, currently resides in New Hampshire. B.A. Queens College, CUNY; M.A. University of Cincinnati. Has published seven Poetry collections; two Short Story books; four Essay books; has won: Letras de Ultramar 2006 (short story), 2015 (essay); First Place XIX Concurso de Cuentos Radio Santa María, 2012; Second Place,2014 & Honorary Mention 2015, Premio de Cuento Juan Bosch.
