Zimmerman weaves a thread that begins with the Big Bang – and what may have preceded it – then traverses the depth and breadth of the Anthropocene, including our regard for oil as a gift and how the detritus of our way of life degrades our environment. From there, in the voices of robots, AI, and interstellar satellites, he interrogates how these creations might reflect on us, and how they might represent us to the cosmos.
