Investigating Earth from Above
Investigating Earth from Above
Tuesdays, March 12–26 (three-part course)
2–4 p.m.
NASA and NOAA have loaded the internet with stunning images, each with a deep story illustrating the Earth’s dynamic processes. Learn how to find, interpret, and manipulate these images using a home computer during this three-part course for adults. From animating the seasonal changes of our planet’s biosphere, to documenting changes in Arctic sea ice, we’ll gain an understanding of the large-scale processes that drive the Earth’s living and non-living systems. This course is funded in part with a grant from NASA. Montshire members $60, non-members $70.
