Homeschoolers' Series: All About Air

10:30 a.m.–12 p.m. (ages 6–8)
1–2:30 p.m. (ages 9–12)
Join other homeschooled children in this three-part series focusing on air. We will learn about the properties of air as we use tubes and syringes to contract and expand air. We will experiment with how temperature affects the density of air when we build a hot air balloon, and then we'll see how air affects the motion of an object such as a kite or parachute as it move.
Montshire members $60, non-members $66

The Montshire Museum of Science is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week, 363 days a year. (Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.)
