Layers in our Land: Working with Edges Speaker: Kelsey Haigh, Landscape Designer, Henderson’s Tree & Garden Services Join us on the first Tuesday of the month as we host the popular Hanover Garden Club monthly program series covering a variety of topics related to gardening and natural history of the Upper Valley. No matter where we live there are edges. From the corners of an apartment deck to the meadows that meet the forest edge, they all invite opportunities for enhancing the beauty and function of our spaces. Kelsey Haigh will share ideas for maximizing those underutilized areas by introducing the idea of gardening with layers. He will also include a discussion about native plants and edible landscapes. ?Kelsey Haigh is the Landscape Designer at Henderson's Tree & Garden Services. He has extensive experience working with clients to design, create, and maintain beautiful spaces. With expertise in permaculture design, edible gardens and ecological plant care, Mr. Haigh brings enthusiasm and insight into every project. Free and open to the public. This program series is co-sponsored by the Hanover Garden Club and Montshire Museum of Science. For more information, visit www.hanovergardenclub.org
