Transform the Montshire into a model city made of cardboard! Develop your design, obtain approval from the city planning board, then build your own free-standing structure that will join other buildings, parks, bridges, boats, and busses. Create amazing 3D structures out of the simplest tools and materials: cardboard, tape, and scissors. It’s a large-scale, participatory art, design, and architecture project where participants are both the audience and creators. At Cardboard City, you can: work together to plan, create, and build their own structures to construct a model city. think like engineers, planners, and architects as they add to the design of a livable city. be inspired by architectural drawings and urban plans provided by local architects and planners.
