Animals in Winter

Thursday, February 23, 10 a.m. – noon for children in grades K-2, 1 – 3:30 p.m. for children in grades 3-5.

Join us and learn how local wildlife adapts to survive the long winter. Using specimens from our collection of animal mounts, we’ll learn about animal adaptation and behavior, and the tracks and signs animals leave behind. Weather permitting we'll strap on our snowshoes and head outside to look for animal signs and tracks.

Montshire members $30, non-members $35. Pre-registration required.

Limit:  12 children/class
