\nCome join us\, along with \;SHARe VT/NH\, at \;The Main Street Museum \;as we celebrate our \;1-year anniversary! It'\;s been an amazing journey welcoming so many newcomers and helping to build community with locals. Over the past year\, we brought together 140+ new residents and 240+ locals across 19 community events. Whether you'\;re a host or a newcomer\, we want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who'\;s been part of the UV Welcome Wagon Community\, so expect good vibes\, new friends\, and plenty of food as we mark this special milestone together.
\n\nHere'\;s what to expect at the event:
\n\nWe'\;re also excited to announce that we'\;ll be raffling off several items to benefit \;Supporting and Helping Asylees and Refuges (SHARe) \;of VT/NH. SHARe is a founding member of the Vermont-New Hampshire Asylum Support Network\, nine community-based asylum support groups who work together to foster collaboration\, share best practices\, build capacity\, raise public awareness about the benefits of welcoming\, and advocate for policies and funding that support our collective work and the asylum seekers at the heart of our missions. All proceeds of the raffle will go towards supporting their important work the Upper Valley and helping to grow their capacity to welcome newcomers.
