DESCRIPTION:Teacher Workshop: Plate Tectonics and Deep Time\n\n	Thursday\, November 1\, 9 am   2 pm\n\n	Explore the big ideas in Earth science as we introduce activities designed to help students understand geologic time and plate tectonics. We will use exhibits and classroom experiences in this professional development workshop designed for teachers in grades 5-8. Participating teachers will also receive one free workshop on plate tectonics for their class at the Museum. This workshop\, part of the Museum's Dynamic Earth project\, is partially supported with funding from NASA. Limit: 12\, pre-registration required.
