SUMMARY:"Supreme Court Update" - Lecture by David Bisno
DESCRIPTION:When we meet on November 3rd the Supreme Court will be well into its new term\; three days later we elect the next president of the United States. As in past years\, thorny and provocative questions will be considered by the Roberts Court. The decisions resulting from this session promise to be no less controversial than those decided in the recent past\, and as with guns\, health care\, and campaign financing\, they will affect all of our lives and those of our children and grandchildren.\n\n\n\nDavid Bisno\, having studied constitutional law at the Harvard Law School with Laurence Tribe. David is fortunate to be able to attend the annual Supreme Court Preview Symposium held each autumn. It is these deliberations the discussions between Supreme Court litigators\, journalists and professors held each year just prior to the Court's October terms that David will interpret and report on.
