DESCRIPTION:Join your friends at Montshire Museum for our first Science on Tap evening event with drinks\, casual conversations about contemporary topics in science and society\, and open exhibits. \n\n\n\nOn January 12th we begin this new series with short talks by choreographer and dancer Karole Armitage\, and psychologist John Pfister. Karole's talk comes two days before her dance company\, Armitage Gone! Dance\, performs Three Theories\, a work inspired by physicist Brian Greene's book The Elegant Universe. John will provide a brief introduction to ideas from his popular Dartmouth seminar on science and pseudoscience in the study of human behavior. Be inspired by these two dynamic speakers while enjoying a glass wine or a fine Jasper Murdoch Ale from the Norwich Inn. \n\n\n\nScience on Tap?Montshire After Hours events are open to adults 21+ and include short presentations by guest speakers\, open exhibits\, and a cash bar (wine and beer) provided by the Norwich Inn.\n\n\n\nThis event is co-sponsored by the Hopkins Center for the Arts and Dartmouth After Hours.
