\n School Partnership Report to the Community - Montshire Museum'\;s School Partnership Initiative: Highlights and Lessons Learned

\n\n Please join us for a very special presentation to the community on the progress and impact of Montshire&rsquo\;s School Partnership Initiative. Montshire'\;s Director of Education\, Greg DeFrancis\, will offer an overview of the School Partnership Initiative\, and leaders from Montshire'\;s partner schools will share their experiences and reflections on the impact of the initiative. A reception will follow the formal presentation. The School Partnership Initiative began as a pilot project in 2005 in the Rivendell Interstate School District. Today\, Montshire works with 10 partner schools to strengthen the infrastructure for science education in our region. Our goal is to move beyond episodic programming to develop a long-term\, sustainable model for museum/school collaboration to enhance K-8 science education.
