DESCRIPTION:20th Annual\n\n"Glory Days Festival"\n\n\n\nSaturday\, September 8\, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, rain or shine.\n\n\n\nDowntown historic White River Junction\, Vermont\n\n\n\nGlory Days Festival celebrates its 20th year as a family oriented\, fun-filled\, day long festival of the railroading and transportation modes of the past\, present & future. Admission buttons are only $3.00\, and are available at local the Hartford Rec. Office or at the festival. Events include: Children entertainment\, Main stage / music\, food \, excursion train rides on the White River Flyer($)\, rail road rides on a variety of rail apparatuses\, rail car & engine displays\, vintage cars and tractors\, carnival rides\, crafts vendors and lots of carnival food. This event was named 2011 Top Ten Fall Event by the VT Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\nThe White River Flyer train excursion is a 45 minute ride along the scenic Connecticut River. Admission: $10.00 for all ages. Tickets are sold at the festival. Excursions run on the hour beginning at 10AM\n\n\n\nThe Children's Stage will feature dazzling performers and the Main Stage will come alive with musicians from around New England. There will be a host of railroad rides.
