Stephen Long will present a slide lecture on the Hurricane of 1938. This hurricane was comparable to that of Tropical Storm Irene in flooding; however, it also had winds exceeding 100 mph. A book on the hurricane, written by Stephen Long, will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
