Maple Open House Weekend at Sugarbush farm

Event Description Enjoy the tastes and smells of maple sugaring. Visit with the sugar makers to learn how it takes 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup. Walk in the woods to see the sap dripping into buckets and plastic tubing. Sample the four grades of syrup and learn how to cook with syrup. Also samples of 15 cheeses, local Vermont preserves and many items made with pure maple syrup. Sap flow and boiling schedule is determined by cold nights and warm days so call for actual boiling times. Farm store open.
